History
Elen was founded in 1986 by engineer Antonio Iezzi, who had already worked for several years as a designer in important companies in the telecommunications and military sectors.
It was born as a design and consultancy company for highly innovative electronic devices.
In 1990, the company started producing control units for agricultural tractors. Later it expanded its product range to include sensors, on-board computers, voltage detectors and electronic accelerator pedals.
In 2007, the development of a range of intelligent sensors began, aimed at providing innovative solutions to problems not solved by traditional components.
Products
Elen offers a wide and diversified range of products for the agricultural and industrial vehicle market: speed, position, temperature sensors, electronic pedals, control units and on-board computers, connectors. In addition to the range of standard products presented here, Elen specialises in customised solutions for a wide variety of vehicle applications.

Research and development
Elen pursues innovation and development by investing in technological research, equipment and methods. The R&D department works in close collaboration with the customer and is responsible both for improving the range in production, in terms of functionality and reliability, and for developing new products on specific request. The skills of the team are backed up by the know-how acquired in 20 years of activity, professional specialisation and continuous updating. Elen’s innovative activity is also documented by various patents.

The quality policy
of Elen is based on

Error prevention: in the use of methods such as FMEA, control plans, preventive actions; in the culture of “doing it right the first time”.

Continuous improvement: in management, aimed at reducing waste and increasing speed and flexibility; in continuous staff training; in improving the products in the range.
Tests and trials
Tests, trials and quality controls are carried out at Elen in accordance with the technical specifications, regulations and reference standards defined. For this purpose, Elen uses a complete range of certified equipment.
In the design phase, the product is subjected to functional and environmental tests, such as temperature, vibration and electromagnetic field tests.
In the production phase, dimensional, visual and functional checks are carried out during incoming goods and assembly. Final testing is carried out on 100% of the pieces.
