Technical features
The innovative SIN-COS Hall-effect sensors with axial mounting, supplied coupled to a magnetic carrier, are designed to provide the motor controller with absolute shaft position feedback in the form of a sine wave.
They are the ideal solution for those who do not require a through shaft and wish to keep the radial dimensions of the motor to a minimum. Precise and reliable up to 8000 rpm, these sensors also offer the possibility, thanks to the integrated firmware, of setting a normalised output signal in the Vpp range and a starting phase independent of the actual zero position of the shaft (phase offset).
The setting of this last parameter is necessary for applications where it is necessary to know the initial position of the rotor, but it is not possible to adjust it mechanically once the motor has been assembled.
Mechanical configurations
3 different mechanical body configurations and 3 different magnet/shaft configurations available, differing in fixing methods and dimensions.
Applications
The SIN-COS Elen sensors with axial mounting are applied on PM AC Brushless electric motors intended for different types of work and transport vehicles.
