Linear position sensors

Linear position sensors detect the displacement in respect of an absolute position by means of a Hall element, providing a proportional output voltage. They can be used for any movement, both linear and rotary (by means of a cam).
They are normally applied on suspended axles, articulated arms mechanisms, dump trailers or lifting systems, in order to detect position, stress or oscillations on agricultural vehicles and earth-moving or special processes machinery.
In particular, contactless sensors are suitable for the detection of shifting shafts (for example gear boxes).
5 Vdc or 9-30 Vdc power supply, contact or contactless versions available, customizable housing and connections.

The new Hall-effect linear sensors are designed to detect the position of shifting shafts for hydraulic distributors, allowing for the reading of the shaft position with a precision 0.1 mm for a maximum stroke of ± 12.5 mm (in the standard version).
