The new Hall-effect linear sensors are designed to detect the position of shifting shafts for hydraulic distributors, allowing for the reading of the shaft position with a precision 0.1 mm for a maximum stroke of ± 12.5 mm (in the standard version). Thanks to the Hall effect technology, the linear movement of the shaft is detected without contact with the sensor: the absence of mechanical wear and tear guarantees a signal that does not deteriorate over time. The programmable card also makes the signal accurate, repeatable and configurable in a wide range of varieties, both analogue and digital. They are immune to electric and electromagnetic disturbances and are suitable for use in harsh environments thanks also to the mechanical configuration and choice of materials. They can be powered up to 48 V and the mechanical stroke can be customized.
