Inductive speed sensors - Technical characteristics

Inductive speed sensors detect the rotation of any ferrous object with cracks or projections, generally gears and tone wheels. They are completely passive and are particularly suitable for detecting the speed of internal combustion engines. Various versions are available - also customisable - compatible with other solutions on the market.

ELECTRONICS

- Operating principle: passive inductive
- Supply voltage: min 9V – max 30V
- Output signal: single signal
- Output: in voltage (NPN Open collector, PNP Open collector), current (N.O., N.C.)
- Wide GAP (2mm)
- Operating frequency from 50Hz to 30,000Hz

VERSATILE MECHANICS

- Fixing method: adjustable threaded body with sliding fixing nuts
- Material: available in metal version (steel)
- Dimensions: different diameters and lengths available underhead, customizable on request
- Fixing nuts (optional)
- Optional LED
- Customizable cable and connector length

RELIABILITY

- IP67 protection rating
- Immunity to vibrations and electromagnetic disturbances
- Operating temperature: -25°/+70°
- Protections from ESD, Load-dump, overvoltage, reverse polarity, short circuit on output
