Solutions for electric motors

We have conceived and designed this new series of sensors in order to meet the application needs of the producers of electric motors intended for hydraulic power units as well as steering and traction systems on transport and industrial vehicles.
The new ELEN sensors give to the control unit of the motor (AC, DC or brushless motor) an ncremental (square waveforms) or absolute (sinusoidal waveforms) feedback signal, in order to ensure an optimal control on torque, speed and positioning.
The new sensors are suitable for intensive and continuous use under hard working conditions and comply with needed requirements in terms of reliability and mechanical strength for engines and their related components. They are available in three different mounting configurations to meet any operational need.
In addition, innovative Sin/Cos sensors for AC brushless motors offer the option of setting up an output signal normalized in a desired Vpp range and a starting position independent on the real ‘zero’ position of the motor shaft.

Incremental position sensors provide the control unit of electric motors with real time feedback referred to the speed/rpm value and the direction of rotor, tipically two square-wave signals shifted by 90°.
